The Big Three

Holy cow, I have a three year old! I'm really loving this stage, though -- I guess I'm just not one of those women who loves the baby stage. Sure, having a toddler can be a pain in the fanny, but over all, I love how much he can do for himself, all his personality and how much fun we have.

To celebrate our little man's birthday, we invited our awesome friends, the Larsons, to come to Chuck E. Cheese's with us. We had a blast, and I actually ate some pizza. Hallelujah I'm not so sick anymore! Drew had so much fun he didn't want to leave, even with the promises of cake and presents at home. Ady was anxious to help Drew open his presents.

Yes, I'm pregnant and lazy, so we opted for the store-bought cake. But it was really good and they did a much better job writing his name than I could have. :) But silly Drew -- he's not like his mom; he does NOT have a sweet tooth. He likes ice cream sometimes, and he nibbled on some frosting (like one bite) but he wouldn't try the cake. We finally got him to take a bite the next day, and he got this disgusted look on his face, like he had just put worms in his mouth or something -- what kid doesn't like cake? That's ok; he'll have healthy teeth!

Drew got a new tee for his birthday, along with new clothes and some bubbles. He had so much fun with Ady, so I'm glad our friends came along (sorry, I couldn't get any good pictures at Chuck E. Cheese's -- all blurry). Happy Birthday, Drewby!
