Oh boy, oh boy...

No, I don't know what I'm having yet, BUT I've got about six weeks before we find out (woohoo, as of Friday I'm officially in my second trimester!). I need a boy's name before then. I thought Drew was a girl, went into the ultrasound with only girl names and SURPRISE! It's a boy. So I figure if I have a boy names picked out, it will even the odds. :)

So far, here's the ones I like that Brent doesn't completely hate (that may be as good as it gets):
Chase
Asher
Nathan

So feel free to vote on a favorite of these or to suggest something of your own in the comments. Just fyi, if it's a boy, his middle name will be Robert after my awesome dad.

And just to remind you what a handsome boy we already had, we got to go to the zoo a few weeks ago and we got some good pictures. :) I love that face!

I won!

I'm so excited -- I won a photography contest! I just found out a picture I took received one of the top three spots in the powerofmoms.com contest. They'll be posting the results any minute. I also have a picture (or two, not sure yet) in the top 35. I'll repost the pictures that won on my new photography blog: megtalbotphotography.blogspot.com. This seriously makes my day... :)

Christmas

We had a great Christmas trip home, but I didn't get a ton of pictures. We spent Christmas in Cedar City, then headed to Brigham City for New Year's.

Drew had a blast playing with his cousins! Especially when they broke out the swords...

My father-in-law read all the kids "The Night Before Christmas," which we all loved.

We had so much fun! We really miss all of our family...

Brent took this picture of snow up in Brigham. Got some pretty good storms...

As for an update, I'm 13 weeks today, so I'm almost done with the first trimester. I'm still sick, unfortunately, but I've got some medication that is finally helping. I still have bad days once or twice a week, and there's still plenty of nausea. But I'm not losing weight anymore, so that's got to mean good things, right?
