Happy heart holiday...

We enjoyed a nice little Valentine's day. Drew had a party at school where he gave out Valentines and made a bracelet. Drew and Brent both got a little lightsaber with M&Ms, and I made Bryn this little apron to go with her play kitchen. We ordered pizza, and then after we put the kids to bed, we played video games. Not much, but I definitely enjoyed it.

We are supposed to submit our location choices for our assignment after graduation this week; problem is we don't know what those might be. We'll be getting a list Wednesday morning and submitting our choices as quickly as possible (it's on a first come, first serve basis). I don't know when we'll hear back on our assignment. I'm so nervous, guess we'll see how things go...

There are no words...

Sorry no picture this week, but just a little update on Miss B. She'll be 18 months next Thursday, and she still is not talking. Boooo.... I got so many excuses when this was Drew: He's a boy, he's really physical, etc. etc. Well, what about Bryn? No excuses this time, but I'm thinking now it's more genetics if they're both late talkers.

Anywho, we went to an audiologist and had her ears checked, followed up by a sedated hearing test (yuck, by the way), but everything is normal. So no tubes needed, no hearing problems that the specialist could find. On to speech therapy for us. Thank goodness I already have a really good one from when Drew was delayed. Wish us luck! I know we'll all be a lot happier once this little lady can tell us what she wants...

Happy 100th!

Last Tuesday was the 100th day of school for Drew, and to celebrate, all the students made a 100 shirt. I opted for stamping 100 things on (instead of gluing or sewing because yikes! 100 things), plus Drew got to help out on his shirt.

He had so much fun wearing his shirt to school. Here's Drew and his best friend, Ady, right before their 100 party.

They got to make hats and necklaces, eat snacks and read stories about the number 100. I also got to go to school with Drew and helped out in his classroom. I really love Drew's teachers and it was so fun to volunteer.

Bryn really liked Drew's shirt, too. It turned out really well; it made Drew so excited to go to school that day.

And for Brent, there's still no word on when/where we'll be after graduation. But he just helped out at the Oklahoma Mission of Mercy (providing free dental care) this weekend, and he has fulfilled almost all of his graduation requirements except root canals and a few competencies. It's so weird to think we're almost done. We'll keep you all posted!
